Welcome! I am a former ESL and Spanish instructor at the post-secondary level and in community-based adult education. Currently, I am a PhD student and Graduate Instructor in Applied Linguistics at Georgia State University in Atlanta.  I earned my MA in Second Languages and Cultures Education at the University of Minnesota in August, 2012.

I am interested in Applied Linguistics, specifically second language pedagogy, multilingual literacies, and Second Language Acquisition (SLA).  Click here to read about my research interests.

Please see my CV for information about my professional background and activities.

In my free time, I enjoy running, kayaking, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
